Melissa McCarthy Gets Honored With Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
Melissa McCarthy received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday and was surrounded by friends, family and co-workers.
She spoke to E! News about recieving such an honor stating, “It just seems really nuts. It really seems like there’s 50 cherries on top of the sundae.”
The spy actress joked that her star is actual a “fake one.” She quipped, “I’m going to camp out around it and make sure it doesn’t dissolve in the first rain. Like mine’s actually made out of paper maché.”
Her husband Ben Falcone and her mother and sister flew in for the ceremony. Also in attendance, were Bridesmaids direction Paul Feig and a group of her fellow co-stars. Ellen DeGeneres also stopped by to congratulate to the Academy Award nominated actress.
